Our parents have done so much for us and we wanted to give them a little party to show how much they mean to everyone in their lives. We invited friends and family to come help us surprise them on April 7th with a dinner party at a local restaurant. We egged mom on giving her "hints" throughout the week..."Front Row Tickets"...."dress nice"...."no money needed"...
She started to be a little to nosey for her own good and started looking online for events in our area for that day so we had someone (who shall remain nameless:) so he will be able to keep his spot in their bed instead of on the couch) 'accidentally' tell her that we were going to Medieval Times. So although excited, not the big night she thought it would be. So the last hint I gave her "Pigs are involved", didn't really get a lot of excitement out of her.
The night of, they were told to come pick us up at the restaurant because my sister in law works there and was going to be watching the kids.
I believe they were truly surprised by the whole event! A lot of nice words were said to them and written down for them as well which I will comprise into a book for them to keep as a memento.
